This week’s part of the week is the Ballistic Fairing supplement (Ballistic Site) for Harley Davidson Road Glides. This $1,300 fairing upgrade provides a sleek streamlined look that looks more like a cobra than a bike. Some dissenters say it looks like a CBR, they’re not wrong but cannot disagree that it does add some serious originality to the shark nose.

We asked Matt if there was much body work involved in the installation of the fairing to which he replied with a resounding “YES”. Luckily Matt has a great deal of experience in auto-body work so such a project was well within his expertise. Unless you have similar installation skills, keep this in mind when looking at prices for the fairing.
Concerns about the new fairing? The only thing that stood out was the lack of brightness as compared to the HD Daymaker lights but if you’re focused on the unique look, it’s touch to do much better.
