January 4, 2015 by thebeantownbaggers

With the 2015 Boston Motorcycle show only a week away we wanted to share some photos from last year’s show.  For over 85 photos check out our Flickr Album http://btbaggers.com/1xIapAZ .  2014 was an incredible showing of Baggers, bobbers, cafe racers, and amazing custom motorcycles.  It was far better than the leather and jerky festivals of some prior years.  We hope for just as strong a showing in 2015! This year’s show information can be found after all of these photos.   For […]

Orange is the new black?

June 22, 2014 by thebeantownbaggers

This is a riddle wrapped in an enigma tied up in the irony of subtlety – we just don’t know how to feel about this bike.  When we saw it we laughed, we cried, we yelled in happiness and then in frustration.  We just don’t know what to think about this colorful display of chrome and painted metal.  What do you think?  Full details below bike photos:     Candy tangerine paint wrapped in white gold leaf (including back rest) 12,000 […]

Sumax Blown Softail Bagger

Eric Lavoie’s Letter to the editor re: a Ridable Bagger

Dear Beantown Baggers, I have seen your post on about the ride-able bagger. I sure hope this is the way they go – a 30 wheel on any bike is stupid. The one upgrade for your stock bagger

January 27, 2014 by thebeantownbaggers

On a recent fly and ride I had the chance to ride a completely stock 2012 Road King for a few hundred miles through the Blue Mountains of Australia. During this most enjoyable ride I thought about the pieces of a bike that could be changed, should be changed and absolutely need to be changed. After taking a few overzealous corners and failing to recover, as I’m accustomed, it was clear that suspension is the one thing that can make […]

2002 Turbo Cream-sickle Glide

December 13, 2013 by thebeantownbaggers

This bagger reminds us of one of our favorite childhood summer treats – a cream-sickle ice cream bar.  We’re not even sure if they still make those or if they suffered the same fate as other great sugary treats such as good root bear and ginger ale that actually has ginger.  Regardless, we love this bagger and would definitely like somebody from New England to bring it into town! This week’s part of the week is the Ballistic Fairing supplement (Ballistic Site) for Harley Davidson Road Glides.
